About the role

Goonellabah Community Child & Family Health has an exciting career opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join their team. This role provides comprehensive and appropriate Speech Pathology assessment and intervention as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Service.

If you have:

  • Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology and eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia Association prior to commencing. To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years’ clinical experience
  • Ability to utilise problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
  • Effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages
  • Ability to provide a range of clinical Speech Pathology Australia services within the scope of practice of the position and effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload
