Job description: Akkodis is seeking a Fully Remote .NET and Mobile Applications Developer for a direct hire full-time opportunity. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience in .NET development along with 2+ years of native Mobile development. The Developer is responsible for enhancing and maintaining our customer-facing mobile applications across Android and iOS, as well as delivering quarterly enhancements to our ASP.NET MVC web platform.Salary Range: $110-115K base pay depending on years of experience; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsThe is a great chance to join an established and growing employer offering a strong 401K!.NET and Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:On the mobile side, you’ll work hands-on in Kotlin and Swift within an established codebase to deliver new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements, collaborating closely with QA, business analysts, and backend developers, and managing releases through Azure DevOpsOn the web side, you’ll design, develop, test, and deploy updates and optimizations to our .NET MVC site using C#, ensuring enterprise-grade performance and maintainabilityPartner with business SMEs, internal product manager, and business analysts to understand requirements for new web features and improvementsArchitect, implement and unit-test enhancements in ASP.NET MVC using C#Refactor legacy code to improve performance, security, and maintainabilityCollaborate with QA on integration and user acceptance testingEnhance and maintain Android app in Kotlin and iOS app in Swift within an existing codebaseDesign, build, and ship new mobile features, bug fixes, and performance improvementsIntegrate with and troubleshoot RESTful APIs alongside backend developersWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented code that aligns with team standardsUse Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics) to monitor app stability, usage metrics, and drive UX improvementsManage end-to-end release process-build, sign, and publish to Google Play and App Store via Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesContribute to the continuous improvement of development and release practicesCoordinate with QA and product stakeholders to ensure feature completeness and qualityOperate within Agile/Scrum teams: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectivesWork with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into polished, responsive interfacesPartner with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoringLiaise with support teams to diagnose and resolve customer-reported issuesQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) required3+ years of professional .NET development using ASP.NET MVC and C# required2+ years of native mobile development with Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) requiredProficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON serialization, and mobile networking libraries requiredExperience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics) for mobile monitoring requiredProficient with Git (Azure Repos, GitHub, or similar) and Azure DevOps for CI/CD requiredHands-on experience publishing apps to Google Play and App Store (certificates, provisioning profiles) requiredFamiliarity with Agile tools (Azure DevOps, Jira) and iterative development processes requiredExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and clear communication requiredExperience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, DevOps Pipelines) preferredFamiliarity with Auth0 or similar authentication/authorization systems preferredUI/UX design sensibility and experience collaborating with designers preferredKnowledge of mobile security best practices (secure storage, certificate pinning) preferredProven ability to debug, test, and troubleshoot complex issues preferredIf you are interested in this .NET and Mobile Developer role, please click APPLY NOW.
