The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care, ensuring the baby’s safety, health, and development.Key Responsibilities
- Infant Care: Provide high-quality care tailored to the baby’s needs, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing.
- Health Monitoring: Utilize pediatric nursing skills to monitor the baby’s health, recognize signs of illness, and manage minor health issues.
- Developmental Activities: Engage the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure the baby’s environment is clean, safe, and stimulating, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene.
- Routine Management: Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine, including sleep schedules, feeding times, and playtime.
- Emergency Care: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations, providing first aid and seeking medical assistance when necessary.
- Parental Support: Communicate regularly with parents about the baby’s progress, health, and any concerns, offering advice based on pediatric expertise.
- Household Coordination: Coordinate with household staff as needed to ensure the baby’s needs are met.
Qualifications and Skills
- Pediatric Nursing Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Childcare Experience: Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, specifically with infants.
- Education: Degree or certification in pediatric nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
- First Aid and CPR: Current certification in infant first aid and CPR.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Personality: Warm, nurturing, patient, and highly attentive to the needs of infants.
- References: Strong professional references from previous employers.Pe
