Job description: Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Merchandise Planner to drive sales through strategic planning of product assortments, inventory, and budgets. You will use data and market insights to optimize stock levels, support buying decisions, and ensure the right products are available at the right time.
- Plan seasonal product assortments using sales data, trends, and customer insights to drive optimal product mix.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
- Monitor key performance metrics like sell-through, margin, and stock turn, and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with buying, planning, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution across collections and campaigns..
