$17/hr + Full Benefits | Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM | Temp-to-HireDean’s Professional Services is actively seeking a Medical Front Desk / Patient Access Specialist to join the team at a large, well-respected healthcare organization in Tomball, TX.This position is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience in fast-paced medical settings. If you’re dependable, organized, and ready to provide excellent front-line care to patients – we want to hear from you!What You’ll Be Doing:Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone in a professional and friendly mannerManage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, identifying yourself and the clinicSchedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments accuratelyVerify insurance eligibility and collect patient demographic and insurance informationCollect and process patient payments over the phone and in personSend accurate messages to the appropriate provider or clinical staffManually remind patients of appointments when neededVerify pharmacy and other clinical information related to the patient’s visitMaintain professionalism and confidentiality in all patient interactionsSupport daily front desk operations with reliability and accuracyWhat We’re Looking For:High School Diploma or GED – RequiredMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced medical environmentExperience with EMR systems and Microsoft Outlook – RequiredFamiliarity with medical terminology, insurance practices, CPT, and ICD-10 codesBasic math skills for handling payments and balancing figuresCurrent BLS certification – PreferredPrevious experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER – PreferredStrong communication skills and customer service mindsetDependable, organized, and detail-orientedJob Details:Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay: Starting at $17/hr (based on experience)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-HireJoin a dedicated team making a real impact in healthcare.
