Job description: Position: Mechanical ForemanLocation: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesContract Details: Full-timeOur client, a leading construction company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join their team. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of various construction projects in Abu Dhabi.Key Responsibilities:– Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians and other workers on site– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements– Plan and schedule work assignments to meet project deadlines– Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies– Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications– Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction– Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project execution– Train and mentor junior staff on proper construction techniques and procedures– Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours– Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on project status– Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and utilized by workers– Adhere to project budget and report any budget deviations to management– Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe work environment.Requirements:– High school diploma or equivalent, technical diploma or trade certification preferred– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry– Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications– Excellent leadership and communication skills– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities– Ability to work independently and as part of a team– Good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment– Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures– Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software– Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Salary: AED AED 5,000 + Food, Accommodation & Transportation
