Job description: Our client, an Aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Forging Engineer to join their team. As a Forging Engineer, you will be part of the R&D Department supporting Global Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have great teamwork, communication and technical problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer or Tooling Engineer with Forging
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Range: $100-$140K DOE
What’s the Job?
- Work with R&D on new forging processes, tool design and simulations
- Subject matter expert on closed die and hot die forging, heat treat, rolling processes, NDE, etc.
- Will be working with engineering and an analyst in solutioning for new products and processes
What’s Needed?
- BS degree in Engineering (e.g. Manufacturing, Mechanical, Tooling, Forging, etc.)
- Strong experience with forging processes, tool design and simulations
- Experience with closed die and hot die forging, heat treat, rolling processes, NDE, etc.
- Experience with nickel and titanium
- Experience with troubleshooting forging process and equipment issuesout on the floor; some CAD experience
