In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Define product development strategy, roadmap priority across owned categories with alignment across global stakeholder teams, such as regional business management team, global sourcing team
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the Hardline product developers, to define the product development roadmap, identify and align the product proposition across key features and ASP, ensure product is developed and launched on time and on target
  • Identify and drive iteration on scalable solution to keep improving productivity and efficiency for product developers across planning, development and commercialization; bring user needs to Assortment optimization team for longer team data tools and automated solution building

This is a full-time position may require domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time over the course of a year, along with the physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and perform regular movements including sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.About the team
The mission of Amazon Private Brands (APB) offers product categories across hardline (HL), Softline (SL) and consumables. Its mission is to build the most trusted and loved brands on Amazon, improving the customer experience and driving incremental profit for Amazon. We deliver a product assortment that offers incremental value for customers in terms of sustainability, reliability, safety, availability, price and speed compared to competitive products, which reinforces Amazon’s low price-high value perception and drives repeat store visits. We drive growth and profitability by clearly communicating to our customers through a streamlined brand which gives a clear signal to customers that they can buy with confidence, making faster and easier purchase decisions amidst the vast array of similar products sold in Amazon’s stores. The Product Development and Optimization Team focuses on worldwide product development under the Product Development sub-teams, and drive data driven scale solution, business tenets and optimize product life cycle management under the Assortment Optimization sub-team, for both Hardline and Softline.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery

The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
