The expected salary range for this position is $150K – $175K depending on experience and qualifications. To qualifiy for this role you do not need to be to able to sponsor visas now or in the future. This position will oversee all access management functions. A large portion of the job will be managing the Okta platform with MFA and SSO and a team of engineers. You will define and implement the IAM strategy and program. Oversee controls, compliance processes, procedures and define regulatory standards. You will report to the Director of IAM supporting the execution and coordination of initiatives with leaders across the enterprise. You will drive operational efficiencies. In the role of Manager IAM you will focus on the technology, people, and processes supporting access management, e.g., SSO, MFA, federation, passwordless etc.What You Bring to the Role. Required Job Qualifications:

  • B achelor’s degree in computer science or related area (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 8-12 years of experience in Systems and Information Security administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience with designing, implementing, and managing Okta
  • At least 5 years of experience with designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions, including MFA, SSO, federation, passwordless, IGA, PAM, etc.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated people management experience – managing a team of IAM engineers and product owners
  • Think with a security mindset, strong IT background within depth Identity and Access Management knowledge
  • Troubleshoot system failures, identify root cause and fix issues, ensure availability and integrity of the system
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with various internal and external teams and vendors
  • Experience managing large-scale Identity and Access Management solutions and operations
  • Experience developing large-scale Identity and Access Management programs and governance
  • Experience managing or supporting IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft, CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, Ping, etc.) Must have Okta expertise.
  • Experience with IT Security and related technologies (e.g. IGA, SSO, ADFS, MFA, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of IT security and risk management, strategic planning, and related tactical initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of Information Security frameworks and best practices (e.g. HIPPA, PCI, SOX, ISO, NIST)

What You’ll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

  • Leads the development of the overall approach for the IAM and access management program, its major time frames and the definition of its major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes
  • Manage the implementation and administration of the various IAM platforms and integrations e.g., Okta, Ping, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.
  • Foster strong collaboration with IT, security teams, and cross-functional leadership to ensure seamless integration of access management tools with existing systems.
  • Partners with the executive sponsor to communicate program goals, objectives, and potential outcomes
  • Leads regular interactions with the executive sponsor to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome
  • Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the program in accordance with enterprise policies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner
  • Directs the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts
  • Develops and controls the program budget and manages expenditure within agreed spending plans
  • Ensures and balances the availability of the required skills and competencies across project teams within the program
  • Leads reviews with the executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify organic or specific program needs and changes and directs the development of appropriate approaches to address
  • Leads the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications and reporting.
  • Acts as an advisor and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
  • Leads the oversight of program projects’ execution, their progress compared with the plan and the production of agreed deliverables
  • Directs or approves the establishment of a framework or guidelines for the use of contractors and professional service providers and determines their use across the program
  • Supports and facilitates agenda setting for program committee/board meetings
  • Develop an IAM Governance Model to support healthcare regulations and controls
  • Assures compliance to Corporate and Information Security policies, standards and procedures
  • Standardize global IAM processes and ensure alignment of processes to IAM policies and standards
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify and resolve business issues
  • Champion all aspects of the IAM Program, including the business value, ownership of the roadmap, project milestones and key messaging to business and IT
  • Partners with strategic vendors and manages relationship with key resources to ensure optimal service levels and works with procurement on contractual requirements
  • Manage and implement procedures to control information workflows for the addition, modification and removal of user access across in-scope platforms and applications
  • Provide advisory and consultation to system development projects around IAM requirements and controls
  • Responsible for the achievement of department productivity and quality goals
  • Determine staffing requirements and delegate work duties to staff to attain objectives
  • Participate in audits and other compliance assessment activities as needed to assist with meeting compliance deadlines
  • Analyze and resolve complex authentication, authorization, integration, and automation issues
  • Provide guidance on integrating the IAM and authorization framework into new and existing applications
  • Manage and track the progress of IAM projects; project management and administration that include work plans, project track, resource planning and control, writing status reports and conducting regular project reviews
  • Facilitate and coordinate the various tasks for successfully analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing Okta integrations
  • Managing performance, providing feedback, and conducting regular performance reviews of IAM team members including IAM engineers, product owners, etc.
