This role provides guidance, identifies resources, and ensures compliance with EHS regulations and client requirements across three locations. The position requires on-site presence five days a week and involves advising the JLL management team on EHS issues, evaluating potential hazards, conducting accident investigations, and maintaining regulatory compliance.Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Developing and implementing EHS management systems and compliance programs at client sites
  • Establishing EHS performance goals and reviewing progress with the JLL Site Team and account EHS Manager
  • Tracking and reporting EHS metrics against key performance indicators
  • Directing the implementation of EHS Committees tailored to site needs
  • Developing and implementing an EHS qualification program for JLL service partners
  • Evaluating safety, health, and environmental risks at client sites
  • Establishing and maintaining inspection programs and schedules
  • Identifying training requirements and coordinating sessions for regulatory and client needs
  • Managing EHS records and ensuring compliance with retention policies

Desired experience and technical skills:Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or related field
  • Broad knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety regulations in general industry and construction
  • 5+ years of experience with EHS compliance and management systems, preferably in facility operations
  • Proven success working with subcontractors/vendors on safety objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in word processing and database applications
  • Data analysis skills to identify EHS trends
  • Ability to inspect indoor and outdoor areas for compliance
  • Willingness to travel (10%-20%)

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or professional designation (OHST, ASP, or CSP)
  • Experience in maintaining collaborative partnerships with client EHS organizations
  • Familiarity with implementing programs to foster a strong EHS culture

Estimated total compensation for this position:90,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
