The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes. Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a recognized accounting qualification
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to support decision-making by senior management
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance and trends
- Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and operational activities
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required by management
