PAY:
$1,400 /Weekly Gross
$12.00 /Hour
40 hours /Week
Duties:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders; serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care; ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient.
Skills:
1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience
Education:
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and a valid State LPN License.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to position specialty
Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
Promote patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals
Resolve patient’s problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism
Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public, according to position setting
Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in the English language
Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE LPN JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Each candidate must have at least two years’ experience in nursing in an acute or long-term care setting
Each candidate will work a rotating scheduleand be asked to work three weekends a month and have 2 days off during the week dependent upon scheduling.
Each candidate will need to have an American Heart Association CPR Card
6-12 months of recent (within the last year) supervised experience in Long Term Care/Nursing Home setting
Licensed Practical Nursing degree from an accredited institution
Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, TB test (within 1 year of hire)
Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN license in the state of employment or compact (multi-state) license
