About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) department, offering the chance to deliver a customer-focused administrative service for the learning, organisational development, and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) functions at the Public Transport Authority (PTA).

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for providing customer-serviced administrative support to our team members and external partners at the PTA. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with our team, customers, and stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for every step of the training process, from organising courses to managing venues, sending out invites, handling invoices, and keeping track of data and records.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting our Rail Industry Worker (RIW) function, ensuring that all documents and records meet industry standards and policies. Alongside this, you’ll handle the procurement of training providers, and keep our Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) systems up to date. Quality checks are a part of your routine to ensure everything runs smoothly. Plus, you may be called upon for other tasks as they arise.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience supporting administrative tasks in a learning and development setting. This includes handling invoices, addressing customer inquiries, and managing records.
  • Excellent customer service skills, patience and understanding when dealing with demanding or difficult customers.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities. This involves being able to work independently, juggle various tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

There is one permanent and one fixed term role with the possibility of extension and/or permanency) both with an immediate start. The selection process will initially fill the vacancies mentioned above, however, applicants deemed suitable may also be considered for similar positions that arise within the next 12 months.
