We are looking for a .Net Developer / Engineer / Analyst to join our team permanently. We have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra and can consider people in any of those locations.

What you’ll do:

  • Create first-class applications that delight our customers and engage their users.
  • Design, build, implement and manage integration and deployment of application and code
  • Understand and analyse client requirements and utilise this knowledge in application design and development.
  • Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement between applications, application elements and within clients existing systems
  • Recommend solutions and help teams with implementation
  • Actively facilitate continuous improvement
  • Manage and plan their own work with minimal supervision
  • Carry out production deployment and support activities; including testing, debugging, documentation and as needed user training.
  • Take responsibility for the applications that are owned by you and your team
  • Work in an environment that supports your growth by providing you meaningful tasks to solve and the time needed to up-skill

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a .Net or Backend Developer / Analyst / Engineer
  • Experience with working on an AWS platform
  • Experience developing in .NET 6, C#, Microservices, Kubernetes, Event Based Architecture / Kafka, Domain Driven Design, Angular, ADO (Pipelines, Git Source Control, ALM), PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of MSSQL, ASP.Net and Azure – advantageous
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or relevant field, a vendor certificate or 5+yrs relevant industry experience
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • You are passionate about writing high-quality code and software engineering best practice.
  • You have excellent written & verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Experienced in translating user / business needs and technical specifications in the world class, functional front-end code and overall applications.
  • You are passionate about what you do and strive to keep up with current best practice in your areas of expertise
  • You enjoy collaborating closely with other developers /engineers and care about the architecture across the back-end, front-end and the APIs that glue them together.

Expected salary: $100000 per year
