Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine and outline the boundaries of properties, as well as provide accurate data for engineering, construction, and mapping purposes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that land developments are done in accordance with legal requirements and regulations.Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive land surveys using various surveying techniques and equipment, including total stations, GPS, and LiDAR.
- Use surveying software to collect, analyze, and interpret survey data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Determine property boundaries, locate reference points, and prepare detailed maps, sketches, and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and design.
- Conduct research and gather relevant data to support land surveying activities, including historical records, ownership documents, and topographic maps.
- Perform calculations and computations to determine elevations, distances, angles, and other survey data.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including zoning laws, land subdivision regulations, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in land surveying or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and LiDAR.
- Thorough understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze survey data accurately.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Expected salary: 6000 – 6500 per month
