Responsible for oversite of maintenance and improvements of all lake activities. Responsible for the efficient operation of supportive facilities including guest services, maintenance yard, bathhouse facilities and laundry facilities. Develop and implement strategies and procedures to ensure safety and security of patrons. Drive business by promoting the facilities and services for use and repeat visits by both the recreational and special event segments of the facility. Maximize the facility¿s profit by striving for the optimum occupancy rates and by achieving the best rate for all campsites rented on a daily basis. Promote total guest satisfaction by addressing complaints, answering inquiries, and resolving issues that guests have encountered.Plan, organizes work, and manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares internal office financial plans and related records and reports, and exercises authority on approved budget. Manages new property resources and may provide direction on facility renovations and improvements. Develops long-range plans in conjunction with internal operating directives. Exercises internal personnel management authorities as delegated by the higher-level supervisor with regard to subordinate supervisors and employees in the office.Supervises employees to include: assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews and signing timecards, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment. Must be alert to alcohol and substance abuse, and take appropriate action. Maintains and enforces security of funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to prevent or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse.Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.

EVALUATIONS:QualificationsMust have a minimum of 4 years¿ supervisory experience in a variety of recreational and/or hospitality activities. Must have knowledge of equipment, supplies and procedures in order to maintain efficient functioning of the operation. Must have the ability to work independently, exercising initiative and common sense in the performance of duties. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
