Job description: Job Description:We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Kronos Developer in Middletown, Connecticut. The primary focus of this role is backend development and maintenance of the Kronos Timekeeping System. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to utilize your knowledge of Atlassian Jira, GitHub, and Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance our systems and processes.Responsibilities:

- Utilize your skills in C++ and ASP.NET for backend development and system enhancements
- Employ the use of Atlassian Jira for effective bug tracking and project management
- Develop and maintain the Kronos Timekeeping System to ensure efficient workforce management
- Leverage your knowledge of GitHub for version control and code sharing
- Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage work in a flexible, team-oriented environment
- Use Ajax for creating interactive web applications
- Develop APIs to allow communication between different software systems
- Conduct AB Testing to optimize system performance and user experience
- Utilize your knowledge of the Kronos Workforce platform to manage time and attendance, scheduling, absence management, and labor analytics
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
- Strong background in Backend Development
- Experience in Bug Tracking
- Expertise in C++ programming language
- Familiarity with GitHub
- Knowledge of AB Testing
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in using Ajax
- Strong skills in API Development
- Experience in ASP.NET framework
- Expert knowledge of Kronos
- Familiarity with Kronos Timekeeping System
- Proficiency in Kronos Workforce
Expected salary: $65 – 79 per hour
