As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the top-line and bottom-line growth of your assigned accounts, building strategic brand partnerships, and optimizing product assortment. You will lead the onboarding of new brands, manage vendor relationships, track account performance, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams such as merchandising, finance, operations, and marketing.Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the P&L of assigned vendor accounts, ensuring profitability and revenue growth
- Identify category gaps and lead onboarding of new brands to expand selection
- Maintain healthy stock levels, promoter engagement, and pricing visibility for all accounts
- Execute joint business plans and oversee assortment planning for high-impact events
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure account success and business objectives
- Conduct regular reviews with brand partners and internal stakeholders to assess results and resolve issues
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and promotional investments
- Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure operational hygiene and cross-functional consistency
- Achieve monetization targets from brand partnerships and marketing contributions
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities to grow category share
Job Requirements
- Postgraduate degree required; MBA in Sales or Marketing preferred
- 4-6 years of key account or category management experience in retail or e-commerce
- Proven ability to launch categories, drive revenue, and manage brand relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and act on insights for revenue improvement
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in managing internal teams and external brand partners across functions
