Job description: Junior Accountant/Cost Accountant x 2 – CenturionOur client is a conveyor components manufacturer .Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for the following key functions:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsAssist in collecting and analyzing cost data for manufacturing processesHelp prepare and maintain cost accounting records and reportsProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsPerform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepanciesParticipate in inventory valuation and reconciliation processesSupport in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial recordsAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesCollaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresAssist with external audits as neededProvide support to the Senior Cost Accountant and Finance Manager as requiredQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, completed articles would be beneficial.SkillsStrong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ERP), SYSPRO essential.Valid driver’s licenseSalary / PackageR25K – R30K CTC Neg
