Job description: Employer DescriptionOur client is a conveyor components manufacturer .Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for the following key functions:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in collecting and analyzing cost data for manufacturing processes
- Help prepare and maintain cost accounting records and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
- Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation processes
- Support in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with external audits as needed
- Provide support to the Senior Cost Accountant and Finance Manager as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, completed articles would be beneficial.
Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ERP), SYSPRO essential.
- Valid drivers license
Expected salary: R25000 – 30000 per month
