Job description: Ballito. Seeking an IT Systems Administrator with expertise in software installation, configuration, and vigilant monitoring of system performance. This role focuses on ensuring seamless operation of the IT infrastructure within the Petroleum industry, located in Ballito.Duties to include installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, ensuring network security, managing user accounts and access permissions, and providing technical support to end-users. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of an organization’s IT infrastructure.Requirements:Maintain and ensure efficiency and security of IT infrastructure and IT operations such as operating systems, security tools and applications, desktops, laptops, and printersAbility to work with systems, manage dry stock at sites as well as a mind for operationsAssist with operational issues whether it be systems, or day to day maintenance etc. remotely as well as doing site visits – this will involve site visits and one or two nights away in a 2 week cycle (at most)IT experience and can assist in the development of a loyalty programmeKnowledge of stock controls and stock management – system basedAbility to review stock report and implement changes to prevent theft and stock lossesTertiary education in ITOperations Supervisor experience – an advantageMust have drivers licenceProblem solver / thinks on their feetAdaptableApply: recruiter@sandicrowther.co.za
