Infrastructure Design and Planning:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan IT infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and align with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and propose enhancements or upgrades to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop detailed infrastructure architecture diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
Infrastructure Implementation:
- Deploy and configure network hardware, servers, storage systems, and other infrastructure components according to design specifications.
- Install and configure operating systems, virtualization platforms, and software applications required to support the infrastructure.
- Ensure proper integration of new infrastructure components with existing systems and services.
Infrastructure Management and Maintenance:
- Monitor the performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure using monitoring tools and proactive troubleshooting techniques.
- Implement security best practices and protocols to protect the organization’s infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patch management, backups, and system upgrades, to keep infrastructure systems up-to-date and secure.
Capacity Planning and Scalability:
- Forecast future capacity requirements based on business growth and technology trends.
- Scale infrastructure resources up or down as needed to accommodate changing workloads and demands.
Incident Response and Problem Resolution:
- Respond to infrastructure-related incidents and service outages in a timely manner, following established incident management procedures.
- Identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Expected salary: 15000 – 17000 per month
