FreshRealm’s channel-agnostic platform is transforming an entire industry as it enables the benefits of speed, scale, innovation and strong economicsJob DescriptionThe IT Functional Analyst II SAP QM, Manufacturing and Labeling, is responsible for the development of SAP and non-SAP solutions, and is well versed in the software development lifecycle, including business process analysis, systems analysis, business process blueprinting, configuration, development, testing, cut-over preparation, end user training, go-live activities, and post go-live support. A strong understanding of SAP core technologies and the ability to work with peers in this area is a must. This position is an integral part of the Information Technology (IT) team that ensures excellent customer service and will work with a team to provide overall application delivery, enhancement, and ongoing support.In this role, the candidate must have functional and/or technical hands-on experience in designing, building, and integrating SAP processes.Successful candidate for this job must have a strong knowledge of:

  • SAP QM modules including quality planning, quality inspection, quality control, and quality notifications processes.
  • SAP batch management, track and trace solutions and GS1 standards.
  • SAP integration with shop floor applications (e.g. MES).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support for the SAP QM module, including all areas of quality management, manufacturing and labeling processes.
  • Responsible for overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Maintain and manage changes/enhancements to SAP configuration.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop comprehensive functional specifications, test plans and training documentation.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide support for SAP-related issues, resolving functional issues promptly.
  • Work directly with SAP on a technical level to solve application issues.
  • Investigate complex SAP notes, understand potential system impact, and work with ABAP and BASIS resources to apply appropriate notes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new SAP features or technologies for business improvement.
  • Provide SAP subject matter expertise to lines of business and ensure best practices are adapted.

QualificationsSkills and Requirements

  • 6+ years of SAP experience.
  • Participation in at least one complete cycle of SAP implementations.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in delivering enterprise business solutions.
  • At least 6 years of process mapping and process reengineering experience.
  • At least 6 years of SAP QM configuration experience, including designing solutions for wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels in SAP or S/4 environments, is required.
  • Experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4 HANA is highly desired.

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or an equivalent combination of coursework and demonstrated direct job experience.
  • Experience with projects integrating SAP to cloud platforms.
  • Experience working with remote teams and matrixed reporting environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in Wholesale, consumer, and retail channels and integrating those into an SAP ERP platform.
  • Experience with integration e-commerce and other SAAS consumer platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and data analytics teams to deliver business reporting is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in the consumer goods or food industry is highly preferred.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
