The Cincinnati Insurance Companies’ IT department is currently seeking a talented, innovative developer with advanced skills in object oriented technologies.
Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $60,000 – $145,001 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- interact directly with business units and business analysts
- participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
- interact directly with other IT areas for interface development
- work effectively with product vendors on co-development efforts
- use code management and defect management tools
- analyze and amend business and solution requirements in order to develop successful implementation
Qualifications
Be equipped with:
- design and development experience using VB.NET, C#, Web Services, SQL and XML/XSLT
- .Net Framework and Visual Studio .Net development tools experience
- excellent communication skills
- the ability to perform detailed troubleshooting, testing and debugging
- the ability and desire to mentor others
- willing and able to work outside business hours as required by workload and deadlines
- the ability to be flexible and change priorities as needed
- strong understanding of generic classes/methods and their application
- strong understanding of method overrides and their application
- ability to run SQL queries for detailed analysis and scope of problems
- passion for learning and skills advancement, team success
- the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted development environment
