Job description: About the role:
Victoria Police are currently advertising an ongoing, full-time IT Coordinator position within the Business Support Division (BSD) of the Intelligence and Covert Support Command (ICSC).
The IT Coordinator oversees and provides IT support coordination, advice, and high-quality customer service to the whole of ICSC. This position reports to the Assistant Manager of BSD and manages 1x VPS3 IT Officer.

Your duties will include:
- Provide IT support, coordination, advice, and high-quality client services.
- Analyse and enhance business practices to improve and identify new IT solutions, including the provision of advice relating to information and communication technology software and hardware requirements (e.g. purchases, fault, repairs and configuration).
- Manage IT service requests and liaise with relevant IT managers.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- The ability to communicate IT related issues in a confident, friendly, and professional manner with people at all levels throughout the organisation.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the provision of information and communication technology support in a complex environment.
- Proven ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction to ensure positive outcomes.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
