We also offer this position tools, continuing education, training, and a take-home vehicle.THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN IRRIGATION FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANYou will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime available. There is no need to report to a central location-you will dispatch directly from home each day, heading straight to job sites to provide expert service.Each morning, you will start your day by heading straight from home to your assigned job site. Your work will involve installing and commissioning pump stations and irrigation control systems, ensuring they function correctly and integrate seamlessly. Throughout the day, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components, keeping irrigation systems running at peak performance. Routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance will be part of your responsibilities to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. You will also provide technical support and hands-on training to customers, guiding them through system operation and troubleshooting. At the end of each job, you will document your work, generating reports and sharing insights with both customers and the ASI team.OUR IDEAL IRRIGATION FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years working with pump stations, irrigation systems, or industrial electrical/mechanical service, preferably with Rain Bird, Watertronics, or similar systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components efficiently
- Experience interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documents for troubleshooting and installation
A background in electrical systems, hydraulics, and controls is ideal.
