We are currently seeking a Fert Mixer to join or irrigation team at our farm in Corindi. A strong ability to work autonomously is required for this role to keep our operations running smoothly.

The role will require the right candidate to be reliable and punctual, have strong time management and attention to detail skills. You will be working with our irrigation team to prepare fertiliser for our substrate and ingrown irrigation systems.

About the roles

  • Physical fit as you will be required to lift 25kg fertiliser bags
  • Transferring of mixed fertiliser from mixing station to various crop location on the farm
  • Working with substrate and ingroup irrigation system
  • An understanding of chemical batch mixing
  • Attention to detail when following a job card
  • Daily record keeping and reporting back to the supervisor
  • Ensuring all procedure are followed
  • Basic maintenance of equipment and identify faults and report to the supervisor
  • Ensure all safety requirements are followed
  • Working as part of a team and autonomously
  • Strong time management, diligence, and reliability towards the task

About you

To be successful in this role you will.

  • Be capable of undertaking a moderate level of physical activity, regular walking, lifting (25Kg fertiliser bags), bending, and reaching.
  • A willingness to work outside, have excellent attendance and attitude.
  • Willingness to work on a regular roster (including weekend work)
  • A background in Agricultural/horticultural experience is desired but not essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Current driver’s license
  • MR license desired but not essential
  • Forklift license
