Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records in Loris, SC. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to count every case, keg, and palette effectively. The Inventory Specialist will primarily work independently, minimizing interactions with others. The ideal candidate should possess computer skills, maturity, and a high level of professionalism. Forklift experience is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inventory counts of cases, kegs, and palettes accurately
Utilize computer systems and software to update inventory records and generate reports
Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues promptly
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper organization and storage of inventory
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow established safety protocols and guidelines, particularly when operating a forklift
Adhere to the assigned schedule: Monday to Friday, 12 am to 8 am
Participate in drug testing and pass a background check
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory management or related field is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and reporting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Mature and professional demeanor
Forklift experience is a plus
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
