We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory Manager to join our team and help us in achieving our goals.Position Summary:As an Inventory Manager at Husaini Brothers, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control and management process of the company. You will work closely with the production team, warehouse team, and procurement team to ensure seamless flow and accuracy of inventory. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize storage costs.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain inventory management policies and procedures
- Create and implement inventory strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize storage costs
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished products
- Oversee the entry and management of inventory data into the inventory management system
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and take necessary actions to prevent stockouts or overstocking
- Work closely with the procurement team to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Analyze and report on inventory levels, costs, and variances
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Train and manage inventory staff
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the hardware industry
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
