As an Interface and Integration Engineer at Parsons Dubai, you will manage cross-disciplinary interfaces among key systems such as signaling, SCADA, telecom, power supply, rolling stock, and more. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement, engineering documentation, and technical problem-solving to ensure full systems integration in alignment with international standards. - Lead interface management between systems and subsystems across infrastructure projects
- Develop and enforce Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and the Interface Management Plan
- Review subsystem designs to ensure compliance, compatibility, and integration standards
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless communication
- Oversee system integration testing, commissioning, and functional validation
- Ensure compliance with global standards including EN 50126/28/29, ISO/IEC 15288
- Identify and mitigate integration-related risks through proactive planning and stakeholder alignment
- Manage change control processes, documenting all impacts to scope and integration
- Provide technical guidance on CAD/BIM systems such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
- Prepare detailed progress reports on interface activities, risks, and outcomes
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in systems interface and integration design in infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of railway/metro systems integration (signaling, SCADA, power, telecom)
- Familiarity with INCOSE best practices and interface risk management
- Proficiency with system engineering platforms such as DOORS, AutoCAD, Revit
- Experience working within UAE infrastructure development environments preferred
- Strong technical writing, coordination, and project delivery capabilities
- Certifications such as INCOSE ASEP or CSEP are a plus
