- Review health insurance policies to ensure alignment with agreed terms and member coverage
- Analyze benefits against contracts to verify accuracy and compliance
- Confirm the accuracy of insured member data and track updates during renewals or amendments
- Liaise with insurance providers to resolve policy discrepancies or unclear clauses
- Identify and document any exceptions or limitations in insurance coverage
- Prepare detailed reports highlighting observations and issues in policy documentation
- Assist Finance and HR departments with insurance-related clarifications
- Support the development and improvement of internal insurance documentation policies
Job RequirementsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance sector
- At least 2-3 years focused on reviewing health insurance policies and documentation
Skills
- Strong understanding of policy structure, coverage limits, and health benefits
- Familiarity with insurance systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret insurance and semi-legal terminology
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
