Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our insurance processes and procedures. Your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in coordinating insurance claims, verifying coverage, and ensuring timely payment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of insurance coordination, including processing claims, verifying coverage, and ensuring payment accuracy
- Collaborate with insurance providers and patients to gather necessary information and documentation for claims submission
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance claims, including tracking claim statuses and following up on pending claims
- Review and update insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
- Identify and resolve any billing and coding discrepancies to facilitate prompt claim submission and payment
- Provide assistance to patients and insurance providers regarding insurance coverage, claim status, and other related inquiries
- Collaborate with the billing team to reconcile payments, resolve outstanding balances, and process adjustments and refunds when necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Proficient in using insurance verification software and other relevant tools
- Excellent knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Expected salary: 5700 – 7200 per month
