What we are looking for:
We are searching for a motivated, practical and bright candidate who is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering course and is keen to boost their future career in Infrastructure Services as a Cadet Engineer. You will contribute to the strategic and operational goals of the Infrastructure Services team by executing duties of moderate complexity. With readily available instruction and assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the teams objectives and ensuring the successful delivery of Infrastructure projects.
Earn while you learn! As a Cadet Civil Engineer you will have the opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment whilst completing your degree AND receiving wages PLUS financial assistance towards your university fees. Employment is offered on a temporary full-time basis (up to 2 years) under a formal Cadetship Agreement with part-time study.

What you should have to apply:
- Currently undertaking a bachelor degree (AQF level 7) of civil engineering (a copy of your most recent academic results must be included with your application)
- Capacity to learn quickly whilst being mentored
- Keen interest in civil infrastructure and specifically water supply and sewerage infrastructure
- Strong commitment to excellent communication, self-management skills and personal development
- Queensland drivers’ licence
- Construction Induction Training White Card
What’s nice to have:
- Current Driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Training (White Card) or ability to obtain within 3 months from commencement
