About the role
You’ll be providing management and ongoing development of the BreastScreen Information System on the North Coast in association with BreastScreen NSW. Contributing to the provision of a state wide application that meets the medicolegal, National BreastScreen Objectives and supports data analysis and ultimately improves the health outcomes of the clients accessing the program. Providing management and leadership to the Data Team.
If you have/are:
- Tertiary qualifications or significant demonstrated experience in information management, preferably in a health care environment
- Demonstrated experience in the development, maintenance, validation and quality control of a complex database
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem resolution skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management and continuous quality improvement and assurance
- Demonstrated highly developed communication and organisational skills
- Experience in working as a team member and managing a team
- Demonstrates understanding of current issues in breast health and screening, including BreastScreen NSW and national priorities or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge
- Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
