Job description: Independent Safety Assessor – Metro Signalling (UAE)We are seeking an experienced Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) to support a major Metro Project in the UAE. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Dubai, requiring a highly qualified professional with expertise in signalling safety assessments, preferably with experience in Thales/SelTrac systems.Key Responsibilities:Conduct independent safety assessments for the metro signalling system in compliance with international safety standards.Review system design, implementation, and testing to ensure compliance with safety requirements.Perform hazard analysis, risk assessments, and verification of safety cases.Interface with key project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.Provide expert guidance on Thales/SelTrac signalling systems, ensuring alignment with best practices.Prepare and deliver technical reports, safety audits, and certification documentation.Ensure strict adherence to railway safety standards such as CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.Requirements:Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Railway, or a related field).15+ years of experience in railway/metro signalling, including at least 5 years of direct ISA experience.Expertise in CBTC and railway signalling systems-preferably Thales/SelTrac.Strong knowledge of railway safety regulations and assessment methodologies.Willingness to relocate to Dubai for full-time onsite engagement.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international teams.Offer:Salary: Approx. 50,000 AED net per month (total package)Exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile metro project in the UAEewi is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer. ewi is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
