Job description: Our client, which is a leader in the biotechnology space, is looking for an Identity and Access Management Engineer to join their team. This is a rapidly growing company and is needing another individual who can help with their IAM initiative (mainly helping with their automation and scaling). This team is expanding due to their need for additional technical security overall.Ideally, they are looking for someone who is skilled with Okta (primarily) but also has good knowledge on Entra. This role will be helping keep the organization compliant when it comes to any security standards (SOX, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc). This role will also need someone to be proficient with IAM protocols – SAML, OAuth, OpenID, etc.This is a full-time role, salary will be between $95-110K for a salary. The company is hybrid, so will be onsite 3-days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2-days remote. Additionally, this role will offer a bonus and benefits along with additional perks.Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5+ years of IT/Security experience
- Strong understanding of IAM protocols – SAML, OpenID, OAuth, SCIM, etc.
- Prior experience with Okta (preferred) and/or Entra.
- Working knowledge of security and auditing processes.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters in an IT related field is a plus.
- Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks is a plus.
- Strong communication and written skills, as this will be a highly collaborative team.
