Salary range: $81,613 – $114,258 per year

Job Description

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst ensures the appropriate access and security of STCU assets by delivering joiner, mover and leaver administration for the organization. This role executes IAM processes, facilitates access request workflows and provides direct service to stakeholders. This role assists in the effective delivery of services on the IAM program strategic roadmap by coordinating with the IAM Engineer to incorporate user experience feedback, input functionality requirements and provide documentation for the ITSM knowledge base. The IAM Analyst serves as an ambassador of the IAM Program within the organization.

*This position can work fully remote from Pacific or Mountain Time Zones only.*

Core Job Requirements/Outcomes

  • Facilitate and guide the implementation of Identity Governance processes, including but not limited to access provisioning, access termination, request and approval and access reviews by assisting in the execution of strategies related to scaling IAM processes and initiatives.
  • Capture IAM use cases to evaluate, collect, and document IAM requirements and processes by collaborating with business stakeholders. Assist with incident escalation, enhancement requests, and evaluation of risks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, LDAP Directory Services, support implementation of Identity Governance and Privileged Access tools, enterprise wide authentication strategies, and Cloud Technology by assisting with administration of services that adhere to the principal of least privilege.
  • Assist with Data Normalization activities and correction of data discrepancies by communicating with stakeholders on a continual and regular basis. Ensure user experience considerations are documented and incorporated into the program design and delivered solutions.

Other Essential Functions

  • Deliver metrics and reporting that demonstrate the value provided by IAM workflows and highlights IAM service delivery efficiencies and opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous learning that enhances understanding of IAM best practices, technology trends and new approaches.
  • Ensure value delivery and encourage continuous improvement within the IAM program by translating a clear understanding of business needs into effective and efficient IAM processes and documentation of services.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business Management or Cybersecurity or equivalent work experience is required.

Job Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience within a medium to large organization.

Other Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft AD, EntraID, Identity Governance (IGA) and Privileged Access (PAM) tools in a 500+ user enterprise environment is strongly preferred. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient with discussing IAM concepts in layman terms Strong knowledge and understanding of various IAM concepts: Authentication, Password Management, Privileged Access, Identity Governance, SSO, MFA. Experience in administration and support of IAM products (Saviynt/Imprivata PAM) is preferred.

Certifications: At least one ISACA, ISC2, GIAC or other industry standard certifications that demonstrate working knowledge of Information Security Domains, Risk Management or Identity Governance is preferred.

Software Skills: Exposure to Software development and implementation lifecycle best practices and workflows is preferred.

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 30 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent within an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. This role is part of an on-call rotation requiring <1hr response time.
