Job Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewAs an ICT Engineer, you will manage the full lifecycle of technology implementation and maintenance across the school. This includes supporting servers, end-user devices, printers, wireless systems, and classroom smart tools while ensuring security, performance, and user satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
- Configure, upgrade, and maintain IT hardware and software systems across school facilities
- Provide frontline helpdesk support to teaching and administrative staff
- Oversee installation and setup of classroom and lab equipment, including projectors, smart boards, and printers
- Monitor wired and wireless network performance, ensuring continuous connectivity
- Maintain detailed inventory of IT assets and user credentials in a secure and updated format
- Troubleshoot end-user issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices
- Support the IT team in implementing cybersecurity best practices and data protection policies
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for equipment installation and warranty services
- Prepare and preload classroom systems ahead of school hours and monitor functionality during lessons
- Handle basic printer maintenance, toner refilling, and software rollouts as needed
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and support logs
- Support school-wide events and technical requirements as assigned
Job RequirementsEducation:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a school or service-oriented technical environment
- Experience supporting end-user services and managing school-based ICT infrastructure preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in desktop/laptop OS, networking, and IT hardware maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of classroom technology tools and AV equipment
- Good understanding of Windows Server, network protocols, and basic cybersecurity
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic educational setting
- Professional, service-oriented attitude with high attention to detail
