As part of Amazon’s highly metric-driven environment, the ICQA Data Analyst will play a key role in interpreting complex datasets, uncovering operational inefficiencies, and developing tools to reduce quality defects and inventory adjustments. You’ll collaborate with ICQA, Learning, and Finance teams to drive improvements and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage robust data collection, transformation, and management systems
- Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and visualize data
- Build insightful dashboards using Amazon QuickSight and automate reporting
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into inventory defects and process trends
- Support strategic reviews like WBRs, QBRs, and cross-functional project updates
- Guide leadership with clear visual data storytelling and actionable insights
- Automate manual processes using Python for efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with ICQA and Learning teams to provide analytical support for ongoing projects
Required Skills and Experience
- UAE National with a valid Family Book (mandatory requirement)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and analytics
- Proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures and performance optimization
- Strong Python skills with libraries like pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
- Experience building dashboards in BI tools (preferably Amazon QuickSight)
- Proven ability to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
- Familiarity with A/B testing, statistical models, and predictive analytics
- Understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data
- Experience in agile environments using project tracking tools
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, Python, SQL)
