Are you ready to make a significant impact on organisational success by leading strategic People & Culture initiatives? genU are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a People & Culture Business Partner.
As a People & Culture Business Partner you’ll collaborate closely with business leaders to provide strategic advice, guidance and support across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Designing and delivering People programs to meet evolving business needs;
- Shaping workforce management strategies to support an engaged and high-performing workforce;
- Providing strategic advice and coaching to enhance leadership capabilities;
- Aligning People & Culture initiatives with business strategy and budgetary considerations;
- Driving inclusive workplace culture through coaching and empowerment;
- Leading employee relations matters and workplace investigations;
- Analysing HR metrics to identify insights and opportunities for improvement;
- Presenting key HR metrics and initiatives to business leaders.
This is a full-time, ongoing role with flexible and hybrid work arrangements available for negotiation. Open to applicants across Geelong and Melbourne (best suited to those living in Melbourne’s South East).
Remuneration package from $112,500- $125,000 p.a. (inclusive of 11% superannuation) + salary packaging benefits – commensurate with experience.

About You?
Our ideal People & Culture Business Partner will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 3 + years generalist P&C exposure and knowledge of a diverse range of P&C specialties including; industrial relations, performance management, mediation, leadership coaching, remuneration, learning & development, recruitment, succession planning and workforce planning;
- Leadership skills and experience with the ability to influence and impact business outcomes & deliverables;
- Experience translating P&C programs into meaningful solutions for key clients;
- Current knowledge of employment related legislation, industrial agreements and associated processes;
- Highly matured business partnership capabilities to advise, influence and empower leaders to lead and deliver services;
- Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, including advanced negotiation and influencing capabilities;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and stakeholders simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Highly motivated and passionate about providing excellent quality of service;
- Ability to establish and maintain productive and professional relationships with people at all levels of the business;
- A values-based leadership way of working.
- Desirable: Experience/ability to negotiate enterprise agreements;
- Desirable: Utilisation of a relevant HRIS.
You will also need the following:
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain.
