Job description: Dubai, UAE SALARY: 22,000 AED – 25,000 AED PER: Month TERM: PermanentLocation: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time, Live-OutSummary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a luxury residence located in Palm Jumeirah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in household management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage staff effectively. This is a live-out position, requiring a candidate who resides locally or is willing to commute daily.Responsibilities: * Household Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the residence.
- Ensure the property is always in pristine condition.
- Coordinate and supervise repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise household staff including housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, and other support staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Organize and manage private events and functions hosted at the residence.
- Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and event planners to ensure successful events.
- Budget and Inventory Management:
- Manage household budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain inventory of household supplies and ensure timely procurement of necessary items.
- Oversee the purchase of groceries and other household items.
- Administrative Duties:
- Handle all household administrative tasks including bill payments, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Maintain household calendars and schedules.
- Security and Safety:
- Ensure the security and safety of the property and its occupants.
- Coordinate with security personnel and manage security systems.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols.
- Guest Services:
- Provide excellent hospitality services to guests.
- Manage guest accommodations and ensure a comfortable stay.
- Travel Coordination:
- Assist with travel arrangements for the family and guests, including transportation, accommodations, and itineraries.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing luxury properties.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with high-end household systems and technologies.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Other Requirements: Valid UAE driver’s license preferbale; ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
