Job description: We are currently seeking a part-time Community Engagement Worker to join our team at headspace Emerald. Our Community Engagement Worker will promote the services of headspace Emerald and assist young people in gaining early access to our services.What will a day look like for our Community Engagement Worker?

  • Design and coordinate headspace events
  • Maintain websites and utilise social media
  • Produce documents and promotional material
  • Build relationships with external service providers
  • Represent headspace Emerald at various agencies and professional networks
  • Identify and apply for funding opportunities

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or experience in community or youth engagement, health promotion, public health, social work or community capacity-building activities.
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
