Job description: Core Responsibilities ▪ Devise a robust yet actionable communication strategy that addresses key issues of SANADAK and the conduct of its monetary and financial policies ▪ Define communication objectives and lead the design of applicable policies and processes to support the execution of the communication strategy ▪ Review the performance of all the communication activities undertaken by the department and make amendments to the communication strategy when/as needed ▪ Manage risk for all external communications and ensure they meet expectations ▪ Develop comprehensive strategic communications and engagement strategies that meet business and audience needs, including advising and supporting SANADAK staff about communication modes and methods to deliver effective information to relevant audiences both internally and externally. ▪ Lead the development and effective use of internal communication channels (intranet, newsletters, face to face meetings, team events, Staff Information System, etc.) to keep employees informed and aware of initiatives and changes in procedures ▪ Report on external issues identified to the Chief Ombudsman and provide advice on the public reporting of relevant matters ▪ Work with the relevant leadership members, Ombudsman staff and the Communications team to continuously improve service delivery processes and ensure consistency of approach, transparency and effectiveness of outcomes in line with the team strategy and business plan ▪ Evaluate the communication developed for key internal and external stakeholders and ensure it relays key message and positive public image of SANADAK ▪ Engage and influence stakeholders such as government and federal / national authorities through building consensus and encouraging collaboration ▪ Maintain relationships with key media partners, speak directly to the media on behalf of SANADAK and define the guidelines to be followed by the team for all public relations ▪ Ensure that media activities undertaken are rigorously evaluated against key messages and leads to positive public image of SANADAK ▪ Oversee the publication process for reports (such as Annual Report, Complaint trends) and studies (i.e. Additional Market Surveys and any occasional publications the management may deem appropriate) published by SANADAK, ensuring alignment with quality and excellence standards ▪ Oversee the coordination of logistics and content for all press conferences, industry conferences and media workshops ▪ Oversee the development of SANADAK crisis communication plans through the establishment of a collaborative approach that outlines aspects such as the flow of information, briefing documents and media kit guidelines, readiness and response 2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Threshold Qualifications ▪ Bachelor Degree in International Relations, Public Relations, Communication and Media Political Science or other related discipline. Master Degree is preferred. ▪ Years & Nature of Experience ▪ 12-15 years of experience with at least 4 years of experience in a leadership role ▪ 6+ years working experience in the UAE, with familiarity of the UAE market and regulations Employee’s Signature Name Signature Department Head’s Signature Name Signature Human Capital’s Signature Name Signature capabilities, and an internal and external communications plan that ensures effective and quick crisis resolution ▪ Coach and mentor a high performing team that is fully integrated, efficient, effective and innovative, influence continual improvement, and ensure the team is seen as a valued partner, collaborating with and coaching SMEs to provide expert, evidence based and strategic advice to deliver key strategic and business initiatives ▪ Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles. ▪ Perform any other duties outside the scope as and when required. People Management Responsibilities ▪ Provide leadership, direction to direct reports towards the achievement of goals & objectives. ▪ Guide and motivate direct reports to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developing for higher level roles. ▪ Prepare performance evaluation and appraisal reports of direct reports to assess subordinate’s productivity and progress and identify training needs. ▪ Ensure that team members are acquainted with the changing situation and the developments of the Ombudsman entity

Expected salary: 65000 – 75000 per year
