My client, a leader in fibre and communications seeks to employ a unique, industrious Group Reporting Accountant to join their formidable team based in Johannesburg North.
Your role purpose and duties will be (but not limited to):
- Managing the finance function
- Ensuring complete and accurate reporting to produce monthly management accounts
- Monthly variance analysis
- Reviewing Annual Financial Statements
- Managing auditors and assisting with requests
- Monthly consolidation for group
- IFRS implementation for new transactions and drafting accounting memos
- Reconciliations across the group and ensure all entities balance at month end
- Forex Translations
- Group Commentary on group management accounts
Education Requirements:
Qualified CA(SA)
Job Requirements and Skills:
- Completed SAICA articles
- 2 to 3 years post articles experience
- Proficient in MS packages
- Consolidations and foreign currency transactions experience
- CaseWare knowledge non-negotiable
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Team player
