About the Role…

We have an exciting opportunity available for motivated, passionate and community focused individuals to join our Grenville Hub team on a casual basis, to assist in the delivery of the Grenville Meals and Hospitality Program through the preparation, cooking and serving of nutritious meals and catering requests to meet service and legislative requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in the planning, preparation, cooking and service delivery for the Grenville Meals and Hospitality Program.
  • Provide excellent customer service and continuous improvement through responding to customer needs and feedback.
  • Provide daily assistance to the Grenville Nutrition Coordinator and kitchen volunteers.
  • Support with menu planning, food orders, catering costings, invoicing and statistical reporting.

About You…

You will have relevant cooking experience in either community or commercial cooking, including skills in preparing a wide range of foods including savouries, cakes and pastries. You will thrive working in high-pressure, diverse environments with focus on the customer and must possess a sound understanding of dietary and nutritional requirements, food storage, stock rotation and food safety.
