This role requires knowledge of various floral designs, and an understanding of different flowers and foliage, including their seasonal availability and longevity.QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of flowers.
- Costing experience.
- Market purchasing skills.
- Eye for detail and creativity.
- Proficient in flower arrangements and aware of new trends.
- Experience in events and parties
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Arabic an advantage
- 5-8 years of similar experience
- Botany understanding, includes how plants complement each other in arrangements and the meanings of different plants and flowers in displays or gifts
- Some structural design skills to aid in creating a large floral arrangement for party venues
- Advanced knowledge of fresh floral products and design techniques
- Excellent personal presentation
DUTIES
- Design and create specialized floral displays, wreaths, centrepieces, bouquets, and floral arrangements using a variety of materials like flowers, plants, dried flowers, wire, tape, and foam based on your own designs, or the Principalu0027s requirements

- Apply artistic skills in plant and floral arrangements to create arrangements and decor that exceed specified standards
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are within the allocated budget and deadlines are met
- Coordinates with the flower and floral products vendor to order flowers, and floral products and monitor their arrivals with the vendors
- Purchase, pack, protect, and care for flowers, greenery, foliage, and other needed materials such as props, foams, floral containers, and carts required for future arrangements
- Monitor, sort, organize, clean, count, and restock all the required supplies and make necessary requisitions
- Maintain all in-house plants and floral decorations by watering and ensuring their cleanliness and dust-free
- Expedite the reordering and acquisition of new inventory for flower vases and floral foams as needed
- Keep a collection of photos showcasing a variety of floral arrangements as samples or for a catalogue
- Stay updated about the latest design trends, floral techniques, props, and other products
- Perform any additional assigned by the Department Head
- Flexible to work odd hours to meet deadlines
