Job description: The Logistics Operations Team provides a range of heavy vehicles, plant and equipment for internal wet or dry hire to the internal areas of Council. The Logistics unit also source external vehicle, plant and equipment hire for Council when internal resources are not sufficient or available.

About the position:

The Fleet Scheduling Officer position will be responsible for contributing to high quality, cost effective and efficient heavy and light vehicle and plant hire services to internal customer branches.

  • This is a permanent full-time position based at the Charlton Depot.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $70,069.71 – $75,434.70 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position:

Qualification(s), training and/or experience, specific to the role:

  • Year 12 education certificate, or Certificate III Business Administration, or Certificate IV Procurement, or a combination of experience, qualification, and competence, which enables the incumbent to perform all duties of the position.
  • Willingness to undertake training in scheduling/booking systems to meet requirements.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
