You will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
Overseeing of accounting operations
You need to ensure that the capturing of client invoices are done timeously
Ensure collection of outstanding debtors
Prepare monthly accounting journals for review
Maintain updated insurance policy schedule for all insured items
Prepare monthly intercompany confirmation reports
Assist in all bank communication requests
Perform accounting processes to support accounting operations such as monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Maintain the billing process and system
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Perform regular reviews of procurement procedures to mitigate risks
Review and recommend efficient accounting process
Assist in setting up and monitoring of internal controls
Implement and maintain financial related company policies
Prepare ad-hoc analysis reports as needed
Keep up to date with relevant accounting standards, regulations and best practices
Adhere to the Information Security Management System policies and proceduresSkills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years post articles experience in accounting
Excellent knowledge of ERP Systems
Excellent analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Very good knowledge of accounting principles
Contribute innovative ideas within the finance teamQualification:
Completed BCom degree in Accounting

Expected salary: R400000 – 450000 per year
