Job description: My client seeks a detail-oriented and highly skilled individual with a strong background in accounting and exceptional proficiency in Excel to join their finance team as a Financial Accountant. Hybrid working environment.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial reporting, analysis and data driven processes within the organization.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.Responsibilities:Financial Accounting and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial accounting tasks and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepare month end journals and trial balance reconciliations.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
Excel Expertise:
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Design and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Develop automated tools and dashboards to streamline financial reporting processes.
Accounting Support:
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with year end statutory audits.
Data Integrity:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting systems.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in similar role.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
