Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) Production Finance team is seeking a Junior financial analyst to join our Ops Finance team. ASP is currently executing multiple, large, complex full rate production contracts that this role will support.The ASP Ops Finance team is responsible for overseeing and developing the Operations Material and Labor Earned Value and EACs primarily using PRISM EV. Primary responsibilities include cost and schedule control and analysis, earned value management, EAC preparation, project setup and NWA management for the ASP Production Programs. You will collect and report data, analyze data for financial accuracy and trends, and prepare internal and external reports. The financial analyst will review actual costs, coordinate cost/schedule variance analysis, and independently ensure adherence to applicable policies and maintenance of financial discipline within the program team. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required and ability to partner with other functions and flexibility to meet business expectations is needed.This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the Naval Power/Naval Airborne Systems SSBU finance team while providing support to the APEX & Forest CMC factories.What you Will Do
- Support quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) which will require you to partner with the program team & perform analysis.
- Support monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE).
- Report Earned Value (EV) & perform detailed EV analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
- Prepare various ad-hoc analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues.
- Partnering with various functional disciplines (Ops, SCM, PC, Factory OPMs).
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with PRISM / PRISM EV and/or APEX.
- Experience with Earned Value (EV) & Estimates at Completion (EAC).
- Experience with increasing responsibility in the Government and Defense Industry.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data.
- Good organizational, prioritization, analytical & problem-solving skills while being able to multitask effectively.
- Experience in detailed program data analysis.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
